CILIP and governance

The references are all in, and CILIP has announced the five members of its Task Force on Governance. It is going to be hard work to cover the ground in the time we have left to us - we are supposed to report to Council in December - but I have every confidence that that the group will examine the mechanics of how the various boards, panels, committees and Council itself govern the running of CILIP. The core issues to be covered are how Council can be more effective and pro-active as the governing body, and how communications can be improved to help this.
