It seems to me the height of irony that in the midst of a debate about the value of LIS-CILIP - some of which value, I maintain, is the linking and communication with members and prospective members, I should receive the latest CILIP Library+Information Gazette, highlighting on the front page the need to know "What your customers are really thinking". It starts:
